In supportive, nonjudgmental groups of no more than six writers I, an award-winning writer and professor, lead Creative Nonfiction writing workshops where participants work on memoirs-in-progress and essays over Zoom. Join my email list to be notified for the next round!
I focus on bringing out the best of each participant focusing on their writing style and plans for their work. The workshops are enthusiastic and encouraging.
Workshops are either 6- or 8-weeks long at $400 and $500. Sliding scale payments are available. Writers present their work 3 - 5 times depending on the number of participants and the length of the workshop. Each cohort meets once a week for two hours.
At the end of the workshop, an author visits the group. In the past, Suzanne Roberts, the writer of Animal Bodies, Aileen Weintraub, the writer of Knocked Down, Rebeca Evans, the writer of Tangled By Blood, Ronit Plank, the writer of Home Is A Made-Up Place, Deborah Lott, the writer of Don’t Go Crazy Without Me, and Lily Dancyger, the writer of Negative Space spoke with and answered questions from students.
